Abstract
The Financial Intelligence Unit plays a pivotal role in combating corruption and money laundering, and indirectly contributes to achieving sustainable development goals by promoting transparency and economic stability. The following is a comparative analysis of Algeria, Morocco, France, and the United States. This study concluded that the Financial Intelligence Unit is affiliated with the Ministry of Finance in most countries, given its effective role in curbing corruption and achieving sustainable development goals by protecting public funds from misuse and embezzlement through illicit means such as money laundering.
