Abstract
Through this article, we aim to shed light on the national strategy for preventing and combating administrative and financial corruption and its alignment with the provisions of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (Merida), particularly concerning one of the most important international mechanisms for combating the phenomenon, which is the mechanismfor the extradition of criminals.
In this article, we address the " mechanism for the extradition of criminals", considering it a stable system in international relations, starting from its definition and explaining the basis from which its provisions are derived, leading to its types, then discussing its conditions related to the crime or the parties involved in the extradition process, and explaining its procedures, diagnosing its issues, and the mechanisms to resolve them.
